Hi T-Squared - I just moved your mod info to your user page, as this talk page is normally used for forum-style communication. I was going to ask you if you could please use the preview button before saving changes to wiki pages, and please put in a summary when you save pages. This makes it easier for us to see what was changed on the wiki, and it avoids "polluting" the page history with many changes (e.g. on the this page you've made five changes which we have to look at individually to see what you did, then most of the changes are typos that you could have seen if you'd previewed the page before saving!) Remember a wiki stores each and every change, so it's good to make sure you get it right the first time ;-) Good luck with your mod! -- Malvineous 04:59, 27 December 2008 (GMT)

Blog

Hi T-Squared - just a friendly reminder that the ModdingWiki is intended to be more about documenting finished mods and technical details about games, rather than a blog about mods in progress. So while you are of course welcome to keep your user page up to date with progress, it would be better if all the other 'in progress' pages and images be kept off-site to avoid cluttering the wiki with things that are changing regularly and not in their final state. Certainly all the in-progress images would be better stored at an image hosting provider! Maybe a forum or even a free wiki dedicated to the mod itself would be a better place for the collaboration to take place? .exe files

Hi again - just letting you know I did revert your edit adding the .exe file onto the Cosmo page. I did this because the .exe format is a bit special and I don't think it's a good idea for each game to have its own page for the .exe file. There would either be nothing special (just a standard .exe file) or thousands of offsets with different text strings which are pretty easy to find out yourself if you go looking. Other things like offsets of internal data structures are normally listed on the format page itself (like DAT Format (Hocus Pocus) which lists the offset of the FAT) or in a small table in the case of subfiles (like for Dangerous Dave). But I think we can get away with just that, so a dedicated page shouldn't be necessary. -- Malvineous 10:29, 1 April 2013 (GMT)
